Quinton Hartman

Quinton Edwin Hartman, age 56, of Haubstadt passed away at his home on September 22, 2021. He was born on Jan. 22, 1965, to Harold W. and Arlene M. (Schauss) Hartman. Quinton was a farmer his whole life. He loved his family, and he loved the land. He was happiest spending time with his family, working his fields, and making passes down the track with his pulling tractor, International Addiction. Every summer his greatest pride and joy was spending quality time with his sons and traveling with them to various pulls, cheering them on with their pulling tractor, Hardcore Addiction, and bragging about his daughter, the pilot. He attended Trinity Lutheran and Scott Elementary School and graduated in 1983 from Central High School. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Darmstadt. He was also a proud member of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League and could be found every year for the last 35 years working the track for the Vanderburgh County Fair Tractor Pull. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold W. Hartman, his brother Curtis, his sister Carol Bittner, and an infant brother Donald. Surviving Quinton are his wife of 32 years Norma (Cook) Hartman, son Bradley, daughter Abbey, son Andrew and his wife Kaitlyn (McGehee) Hartman, his mother Arlene (Schauss) Hartman, his sister Linda (John) (Hartman) Sensmeier, brother-in-law Mark Bittner, and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving Quinton is his first grandchild to be born in a few days, Calvin Quinton Hartman. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Darmstadt, officiated by Pastor Stan Temme, with burial to follow. Friends may visit on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Trinity Lutheran Church at 1401 W Boonville – New Harmony Rd, Evansville, IN 47725, or to the family, where a memorial fund will be set up in Quinton’s honor to support aspiring young tractor pullers.
