Rita M Jackson

November 26, 1926, in Evansville, to the late Alexander and Marie (Hillenbrand) Scheller.

Rita worked at home caring for her family. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic

Church and St. Anthony’s Senior Citizens.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Earl Jackson; children, Jane Happe, Marlene

Dassel, Diane Hatfield, and Thomas Jackson; many grandchildren and great

grandchildren; brothers, Larry Jerome and Norman Scheller; and sisters, Shirley Linnebine

and Norma Mayer.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her son, Richard Jackson, and

brothers, Alexander, Robert Lee, and Dale Scheller.

Visitation will be 2:00 until 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Ziemer Funeral Home

Central Chapel, 626 North First Ave. and will continue Monday, June 5, 2017, from 9:30

until 9:45 am. Services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, at St. Anthony Catholic Church,

Evansville. Burial will follow at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.
