

Sharon was a member of Grace and Peace Lutheran Church. She was a wonderful cook and her home was always open for family gatherings.
Surviving Sharon are her husband of 47 years, John Lee, who had tirelessly devoted himself to her care and comfort during her last several years of illness; two daughters, Amber (Kevin) Schiff and Andrea (fiancé, Chris Fuller) Lee; her father, Elzie Toy; sister, Theresa (David) Burress and brother, Gary D. (Deborah) Toy and two grandchildren, Tyler and Brady Schiff, all of Evansville. Also surviving is a nephew, Adam Burress, who affectionately knew Sharon as “Dee Dee” and lifelong friends, Annie Wargel and Rita Sparks.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marietta (Robinson) Toy.
Funeral services for Sharon will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Roberta Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
