My wonderful, beautiful mother Barbara Rae Glantz has died at the age of 89 years old on Sunday, September 13th from heart failure. She was born in Seattle, Washington on February 18th,1931 from her father and mother Charles and Marie Haliday.
Barbara attended Cleavland High school and graduated June of 1950. Also attending University of Washington and was an active member of Phi Beta Mu. She had so many girlfriends, but sadly they all passed. The passing of her friends, husband Paul D. Glantz, sister Jodie Conover, parents, sister in law Barbara Galbraith had always made her feel alone in her late years. Her daughter Paula Harb with husband Easa Harb and brother in law Harbie Harb cared for her with her loving grandchildren Natalia and Marie Harb.
She lived with her family in Edmonds, Washington through her years in happiness and joy. It was never a dull moment with her gravitating laugh. She loved to travel with her husband Paul D. Glantz who she had lost at the age of 59 years old and was so proud of the knitting she did for others. She was quite the loving grandmother! If roses grow in heaven, please pick them for my mother Lord. Please place them in her arms and tell her we love and miss her. RIP
Donations in her honor would be appreciated to the American Heart Association.
