Carol Joyce Ehrhart, age 80, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2024. Born on August 22, 1943 in the Everett, Washington to Billie Joe Ballard and Eleanor Frances (Clark) Ballard.
Carol's zest for life was infectious; her spirit was as free and adventurous as the open road. Her love of travel took her to many places such as national parks, campgrounds, and countless historical landmarks, collecting memories and friendships that spanned across state lines.
Her adventurous spirit was rivaled only by her passion for the baking. Carol was a maestro in the kitchen, known for her legendary potato salad and her uncanny ability to whip up the most divine pies, a skill she often showcased at church dinners or family gatherings. Her recipes—much like her love—will be a legacy treasured by all who knew her.
For Carol, moments of solitude were spent with her assortment of coloring books on her phone, an activity that brought her immense joy and relaxation. The intricate designs she lovingly filled with color were often reflections of the places she'd seen and the hymns she held close to her heart. It was one of the many ways she expressed her creativity and her unshakable faith. Carol embodied the vibrant spirit and deep love for Elvis and gospel music throughout her life, a testament to her strong and enduring faith.
Carol was a beacon of light to everyone, guiding them with her unwavering positivity and strength. Her remarkable energy was a force that could outshine any darkness, and she offered support and guidance to all who sought it. She demonstrated that age was simply a number and that the true measure of life is in the joy and love you share with others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Paul Ehrhart and her daughter, Terry that passed in November of 2005.
Carol is survived by 3 children, Larry Hall; Pauline Meyers and Tammy Albin; 11 grandchildren, Robert Gabbard and Amanda Ward (Terry’s kids), Christopher and Cassey Hall (Larry’s Kids), Jessica Olson, Ruben Hinton, Curtis Telvick and Zachariah Sorka (Pauline’s kids), Devin Albin, DeSean and Dayveion Coleman (Tammy’s kids); 15 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mickey Alf and Billie Jo Linder; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; Jamie Badillo a cousin that was like a daughter to her; also lots of cousins and in-laws and multitude of friends who were all family in her eyes. Carol's life was a beautiful journey that inspired everyone she met to live with love, to embrace adventure, and to always have a song in their heart.
A celebration of Carol's life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 2:00p.m. the Evergreen Funeral Home 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA 98203, followed by a reception at the funeral home, at listen to memorable music, share stories, and reminisce about the countless memories she brought into our lives.

The Lord is my Shepherd;
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down
in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul;
He leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me;
Thou preparest a table before me in
the presence of mine enemies;
Thou anointest my head with oil,
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life;
and I will dwell in the house of the
Lord forever.
