She was born November 10, 1931 in Beach, North Dakota to Monroe and Clara (Senff) Gasho the second of four children. She married Jerry Allen Provorse, Sr. on Sept. 2, 1950 on Orcas Island, WA. She worked at the Aurora Village J.C. Penney’s for 25 years. After retirement they moved to Westport and became “snowbirds” in Yuma, AZ.
Deloris enjoyed ceramic, knitting, cooking, fishing and clam digging. She also liked to entertain friends and family at her home. Deloris loved to travel especially going on cruises.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Allen Provorse, Sr.; her sister, Norabelle; brother, James Gasho.
Deloris is survived by her son, Jerry Allen Provorse, Jr. & (Vivian) Copperas Cove, Texas; daughter, Cheryl Ann Provorse of Everett, WA; sister, Mary Ann Blanton of Shelton, WA; and 2 grandchildren, Timothy Allen and Teri Ann Provorse.
Celebration of Life will be held later in July 2017 in Westport.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or American Diabetes Association.
