Don, a devoted father, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at his home after bravely battling degenerative lung disease. Throughout his life, Don was known for his unwavering dedication to his work, a testament to his strong work ethic and passion for his career. His profession took him on travels across the country, including memorable journeys to Hawaii and Alaska, where he found solace in the beauty of nature. Don's love for deer and elk hunting was a defining aspect of his life, offering him moments of tranquility and connection with the great outdoors. Don cherished the simple pleasures of life, finding joy in feeding the birds and squirrels. In the nicer months, you would only find him in his yard, basking in the sun and caring for a wide range of plants and veggies. One superior tomato grower, Don always produced an abundance of them and shared them with the neighbors. His presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him, but his spirit will live on through the countless cherished memories and the love he shared with his family and friends. Survived by his Daughter, Christina McGonigal; Brother, Dean Neubauer and Sister, Colleen Duerre, Don's enduring legacy will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched, and his memory will forever be a reminder of positivity and undying loyalty.
