George A. Pearson was born June 18, 1928 in Addy Washington. He Passed away at his home in Everett, Washington on June 26, 2016. George served over 30 years as a Seattle Police Officer. After his retirement in the mid 1980's, George worked for a short period of time at the Mill Creek Police Department. Sometime later he served a few years as a Court Security Officer at the King County Court House in Seattle, retiring again in 1993.
George was also a United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean conflict, being awarded the Purple Heart after being wounded in enemy action. He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer-4, after serving over 30 years in the Army Reserve.
He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, daughter Lisa Joe Brown, and brother, David L. Pearson. George is survived by his daughters Lynn Tyree, Lori Lindemann (Steve), brothers Robert Pearson and August Pearson (Gloria), sister, Alice Christianson (Donald), and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
