

Harold David Christensen, 87, of Silver Lake in Everett went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior September 10, 2023.
Harold was born December 20, 1935 in Tacoma Washington. The family moved to Ballard and then to the Silver Lake area in 1946 when he was 11 years old. Harold attended Silver Lake Elementary, South Jr. High School, and graduated from Everett High School in 1954. He graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in education and returned to the Everett School District as a mathematics teacher.
Harold was very involved with his church, Bethany Christian Assembly, and Cedar Springs Camp. Yet his commitment to his family was unsurpassed.
Harold is survived by his wife, Julene Christensen , children, Jim Johnson (Peggy), Craig Christensen, Sherry Johnson-Sampson (Bob), Kim Christensen-Taylor (Jeff), brother, Ken Christensen (Marnee). He has 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 5 nieces.
Visitation was held on September 27, 2023 at Evergreen Funeral Home on Broadway from 10:00-noon. Harold's memorial service will be on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 1 PM at Bethany Christian Assembly, Everett Washington.

Private family graveside service was held at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Everett Washington.
