Beyond the Sunset
Do not look for me within the gloom,
For I have not departed, nor found a tomb.
I have only slipped into the next room,
Where eternal flowers forever bloom.
I am the gentle breeze that lifts your hair,
The radiant sunlight, the quiet air.
I am the soothing peace that meets your prayer,
A vibrant spirit, free from earthly care.
If you could see the beauty of this place,
And the loving light of the Father’s face,
You would not mourn my sudden grace,
But feel my love in every time and space.
So do not weep, for I am truly free,
Resting in the calm of the crystal sea.
I am simply waiting, as it must be,
For you to join me in eternity.
