

While surrounded by her family, our beloved mother and grandmother, JoAnn Moore passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011. JoAnn was born December 1, 1933 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She married Harry R. Moore in 1962 and moved to Everett, Washington where they raised six children. JoAnn and Harry owned Smokey’s Cascadia in Marysville, Washington for 20 years. They were constant companions. Harry passed away on December 25, 2010 and Mom grieved for him until her passing, half of her was missing. JoAnn loved cosmetology, she owned her own beauty salon in her home while her children were young. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, step-father, two sisters and one brother. Surviving her are her two sisters Marcene and Linda; three daughters Cheryl (Jim) Dennis, Leslie (Jim) Knosp, Renee Outcelt; and three sons, Mark (Kelly) Outcelt, Frank Moore and Randy (Alma) Moore. Also surviving are her 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. We all loved her very much, there were only 27 days between the passing of our Mom and Dad. The family would like to thank the nurses on the 4th floor of Providence Colby Campus, and Hospice of Snohomish County for all the compassion and kindness that they have shown, they helped us make it through this very difficult time. Viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Monday, January 31, 2011 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway Everett, Washington. Services will be held immediately after at 1:00 p.m. and burial services immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Snohomish County.
