Kelsey Alyce Osborne passed away unexpectedly on July 9th 2017 due to complications from surgery. She was born on Sept. 10th 1987 at Stevens Hospital in Edmonds. She had a beautiful soul and caring personality. Kelsey graduated from Everett High School in 2006. She continued her dream of becoming a teacher by attending Western Washington University through the Everett Community College campus. In 2014 she graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. She went on to teach at Skyline Elementary in Lake Stevens, WA before moving to her current position teaching 1st grade at Sunnycrest Elementary, also in Lake Stevens. She had a special patience for her students and they loved her for it. Kelsey spent much of her free time finding new projects and lessons for her students that would keep them engaged and help them grow. For anyone that knew Kelsey, teaching was her calling. When Kelsey wasn’t teaching she loved to spend time with her fiancé Kevin. They enjoyed going to movies, out to dinner, and the farmer’s market. A few of her favorite things included Judge Judy, Dateline (even though she fell asleep during it), sushi, Minions, and making lists (of any kind) and golfing. There was no one more organized than Kelsey. Kelsey also applied her gentle, loving nature to all animals, including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, and stickbugs, caring for many throughout her life. Kelsey left an impression on anyone that met her. She was a ray of light that will continue to shine on her family, friends, coworkers, and students. Before leaving, Kelsey was able to bless others one last time by being an organ donor. Kelsey is survived by her parents Mike and Diana Osborne, sisters Kaitlin (Osborne) Moss and Amy(Osborne) Krauss, Fiancé Kevin Lynch, Grandfather Allan Osborne, Grandparents Richard and Carol Marberg, Aunt Rhonda Gage, Uncles Don Marberg and Jeff Osborne, and numerous other family and friends. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to Sunnycrest Elementary School which you can mail directly to the school at 3411 99th Ave NE Lake Stevens, WA 98258.
