Born on October 15, 1964, in Everett, Washington, Lisa was raised in the Everett School District and grew up surrounded by a large, close-knit extended family. Her early years were filled with gatherings, shared traditions, and the kind of connection that would shape her deep devotion to family throughout her life.
Lisa was a loving and dedicated mother to her son, Mark Dunham. While raising him in Everett, Marysville, and Stanwood, she created a home grounded in care, support, and steady love. Her role as a mother was one of her greatest joys and proudest accomplishments.
On December 18, 2004, Lisa married the love of her life, Phil Pederson. Together they built a life filled with quiet happiness in their Stanwood home, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Lisa found peace and joy in the simple pleasures there—watching deer and bunnies wander through the forested landscape, tending to her garden, and sharing the serenity of their home with Phil.
A woman of deep compassion and selflessness, Lisa devoted much of her life to caring for her mother, Claudia, and her brother, Aaron, ensuring they were supported and able to live their best lives. Her kindness and sense of responsibility toward those she loved were unwavering.
Lisa worked for the Snohomish County Health Department, where she dedicated years of service to her community before retiring in 2024. Her work reflected her caring nature and commitment to helping others.
She also enjoyed vacationing in Ocean Shores, where she found rest and renewal by the water. At home, her beloved white Labrador, Lilly, held a special place in her heart and was a constant and cherished companion.
Lisa will be remembered for her heart of gold, her gentle spirit, and the deep love she held for her family and friends. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Phil Pederson; her son, Mark Dunham; her mother, Claudia Baker; her brother, Aaron Rush; and a large extended family of in-laws, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Her memory will live on in the lives she touched, the care she gave so freely, and the love she shared so generously.
