With deep love and tender remembrance, we celebrate the radiant life of MacKenzie Dianna Moses, who was born on June 26, 1989, in Seattle, Washington, at Northwest Hospital, and passed away on July 10, 2025, in Tukwila, Washington. Though her time with us was far too short, MacKenzie lived each day with wonder, vibrancy, and a heart as vast as the sky.
MacKenzie was a free spirit in the truest sense. She danced through life—sometimes quite literally—bringing joy wherever she went. Whether twirling through a sunlit park or moving to a song that only she could hear, MacKenzie lived with an infectious joy that lifted those around her. People often caught her dancing when she thought no one was watching, a gentle reminder that life is meant to be felt and not just lived.
A true lover of the earth, MacKenzie saw animals, plants, and nature itself as fellow souls deserving of reverence and connection. She had a special gift for seeing beauty where others might not look, and her deep sense of compassion led her to care, nurture, and advocate for all forms of life.
Her creativity knew no bounds. She was studying to become a jeweler and was particularly enchanted by opals—drawn to their depth, color, and magic, much like herself. She poured her heart into making tie-dye clothing and handmade jewelry, which she sold at farmers markets and through her online shop. Her vibrant creations weren’t just art—they were extensions of her soul, full of color, light, and intention.
In her high school years, MacKenzie was part of the Drill Team for two years, and also found joy in the Drama scene—always eager to express herself and be part of something larger than herself. She valued community and connection and often lent a helping hand to others on their own unique journeys. She was the type of person who not only offered support but followed through with grace and sincerity.
MacKenzie is survived by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her—each person who witnessed the bigness of her heart, the light in her eyes, and the way she moved through life with purpose and passion. She leaves behind countless memories, lessons, and pieces of herself in the stories told, the art she created, and the love she gave freely.
May we all carry a piece of MacKenzie's light with us—her courage to dance, her compassion for all beings, her bright spirit, and her unwavering belief in beauty, joy, and kindness.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life for MacKenzie will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA.
