Mary Ruth Gibson

Mary was born April 10, 1930 in Brasstown NC to Julius and Annie West. She married her husband Holland at age 16. They had 7 children and 56 wonderful years together before he passed in 2001. They enjoyed rock collections, making treasured gifts and art work. Mary was devoted to her family. She completed her home nurse credentials and lovingly cared for her disabled daughter and husband full time for over 50 years.

She was a Bible scholar and devout Christian who attended the Assembly of God churches. She had many talents and was an outstanding play by ear guitarist with a beautiful voice. She was also an excellent gardener and had a yard filled with flourishing flowers and shrubs

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Holland and daughters Rose Mary and Norma Jean, grandsons Douglas Wayne and Richard James Fifield, Jonathan Dwayne Gibson, and great grandson Daniel Pope.

Surviving children are: Marcelene Lowes (Rick), Michael Gibson, Oral Gibson, Wanda Kutsch (Mark) Brenda Smith (Steve). She leaves 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 7 great- great grandchildren.

Services: Monday June 16: Viewing 10:00 am and service at 1:00 pm, Evergreen Funeral Home 4504 Broadway, Everett WA followed by internment at 2:30 pm Cypress Lawn Memorial Park 1615 SE Everett Mall Way.
