Meta was a 40 year member of the Kellogg Marsh Grange #136 in Marysville where she held the office of Master, Chaplain, CWA, Secretary, Pomona Master, Rest Stop Chairperson, and many others. Meta enjoyed creating quilts, blankets and displays for grange contests, winning several awards.
Meta and Ray owned Weathered and Rogers Backhoe Service for 35 years. They retired in 2008. In retirement, Meta enjoyed camping, crabbing and spending time with her family. She loved to crochet blankets, afghans, hats and scarves for friends and family and local charities.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Norm and Eleanor and twin sister Marge.
Meta leaves behind her husband of 56 years Ray, daughter Sheri, Brother's Norman and Lester, granddaughters Kelsey and Shawna and great grandson Theo.
