Nancy was born in Salem, OR on February 12, 1945 to Peter and Betty Jensen. Nancy attended Oak Harbor High School and lived in many places including Tennessee, Washington, California, and Hawaii. Nancy was married to Rodney Mueller for 32 years, sharing a love for boating, race cars, gardening, family dinners, and travel. She enthusiastically raised three daughters and has three adult step children.
Nancy had a multitude of interests and her passions included master gardening, music, cooking for large groups, driving Corvettes, collecting antiques, and connecting with others. She was a small business owner who ran The Little Mermaid pet store in Seattle and then Get Nailed, a nail salon in Bothell. She freely adopted pets and people, always inviting anyone over for an ice tea and a chat. She was very supportive and active in the lives of her family, rarely ever missing an event. Family celebrations and holidays were always at The Lodge, Rod and Nancy’s home, until Nancy’s dementia slowed her down. Nancy was a free spirit, a dedicated Mom, an adventurer and philosopher, and will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy is survived by husband, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their spouses: Rodney Mueller (husband), Stacy (Andy), and Jaimie (Steve), Michelle (Michael), Matthew (Lloydene), and Peter (Jodina). She is also survived by her grandchildren Drew (Katie), Jordan (Saul), and Maria, Grant, Wes, Katie and Sarah along with two great-grandchildren, Lucia and Zoe. She was preceded in death by her daughter Colleen, and her parents.
As you would say Mom, cheers to a life well lived! We love you!
A private family gathering will celebrate Nancy's life.
