Narasimhulu Arani was born in Chennai, India in 1945 and peacefully departed on December 9, 2025 at Swedish Edmonds Hospital in Edmonds, Washington. Raised in Chennai, his life was deeply influenced by his faith and these beliefs guided him throughout his life.
He had an analytical mind and earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Madras College and another bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the Vivekananda Institute of Technology. His studies then led him to the United States, where he completed an MBA at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Narasimhulu married his beloved wife, Sailaja at the age of 27 and together they shared a loving and harmonious marriage full of respect, care and kindness toward one another for 53 remarkable years.
An epitome of responsibility, reliability, strength and devotion, he always offered calm and courage in times of hardship. He and Sailaja devoted their lives to their family with quiet grace. He cared tenderly for his wife and children, supporting them in every way: guiding, encouraging and showing up without hesitation. When grandchildren arrived, his joy overflowed, and he embraced them with the same devotion—feeding them, reading to them, and holding them close. His life was defined by love expressed through action, and by the countless ways he lifted and cared for those he cherished.
In later years, Sailaja devotedly cared for Narasimhulu, finding deep fulfillment in nurturing him and honoring the kindness, wisdom and enduring legacy of love he had given their family.
Though our hearts ache with grief, we are filled with deep gratitude—for the man he was, for the love he gave so freely and for the way his spirit continues to live on gently within each of us.
I want to include this poem for daddy:
In every quiet corner of our days,
Your presence lived—steady as dawn,
Gentle as hands that guided without force,
Certain as the path you walked before us
You carried responsibility the way others carry breath
Naturally, without complaint.
Strength was your language, but love was the meaning behind every word
In hardship, you stood like a sheltering tree,
Offering shade, offering calm,
Offering courage, we did not yet know we possessed
Your faith in us was the quiet engine that carried us toward the lives we now live.
Now, in your absence, we feel the shape of your life everywhere—in the lessons you taught, in the wisdom you shared, in the love that still moves through us like a steady heartbeat.
A visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, located at 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA, 98203, US. The visitation is scheduled for December 15, 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
