

Robert K. Adler, 92, passed away March 1, 2017. He was born February 27, 1925 in Los Angeles, California. He served as a telecommunications officer in the Army Air Corp during World War II, returning to civilian life to work at GTE as an engineer and then a manager, until his retirement. He then continued to work part time the rest of his life, spending the last 16 years at Town and Country in Lynnwood, WA.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, volunteering in numerous callings at church including working in the Temple in Bellevue, WA. He was also an avid urban gardener, producing a bounty of fruits and vegetables in his small front yard gardens every year.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathy and Debbie Adler and three grandchildren, Katie, Douglas, and Ronnie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte and son, John Adler.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Harbour Pointe Building, Latter Day Saints Church, 11001 Harbour Pointe Blvd., Mukilteo. A brief graveside ceremony with military honors will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, 4504 Broadway, Everett.
