Ruby Belle Linde

Ruby Belle Berg Linde died unexpectedly at the age of 95 at Providence Medical Center on Sunday, July 17th, 2022. Ruby was born in Tokio, North Dakota, on June 28th, 1927.

Ruby was the daughter of Edward Sigfred and Emma Christina Berg.

Ruby taught in a one room classroom to several grades at one time in North Dakota and loved it. She attended Valley City Teacher’s College as well as North Central Bible College.

Ruby married Edward W. Linde. He was the love of her life. They weathered many valley and mountain top adventures. As a result, their love grew, thrived, and endured over their 68 years of marriage.

Edward and Ruby have two children: David L. Linde (Kathy), and daughter, Opal R. Oss. They have seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and three brothers. She is survived by one sister and one brother.

Ruby’s life was one of service. She was a devoted pastor’s wife, Sunday School teacher, choir director, friend and confidante to many. She cherished time with her family and numerous relatives. She was the “Organizer”-rallying her family to many lunches, dinners, and celebrations.

Ruby was dearly and deeply loved. She will be missed tremendously.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 12-2pm at Evergreen Funeral Home 4504 Broadway, Everett WA 98203. Memorial service will be held at Bethany Christian Assembly Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 3:00pm 2715 Everett Ave. Everett WA 98201
