Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Anna, brothers Russell, Earl and Arnie Anderson and her husband of nearly 50 years Garland Harris. Also preceding her in death was her beloved dear friend and long time companion Duain Schuart. She and Duain spent 10 wonderful years together dancing, camping, clam digging, playing cards and many other fabulous fun activities. An avid Mariner fan she never missed a game.
Ruth is survived by two loving children Gary (Carol) Harris and daughter Anita Alexander whom she resided with the last 12 years of her life; her three adoring grandchildren, Jared Alexander; Nicole (Jason) Jones and Jessica Harris; three precious great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hannah Alexander and Lucas Jones who fondly referred to her as GG. To know Ruth was to love her. She was a kind spirit and loyal friend. Those who had the privilege of knowing her have commented “She was the kindest woman they ever met”. She touched numerous lives and will be missed by many.
