Shari Alexander

Sharilou Hand/Smith/Lillibridge/Alexander died on November 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by Ramona Hand (1918-2011), Melvin Hand (1918-2010), nephew Donnie Emerson (d. 2007) and her husband Gary Alexander (1941-2020).

She is survived by her three beautiful girls, Tracy Jean Peters (Gordon Peters), Michelle Esther Alexander Fankhauser (Jeff Fankhauser) and Rebecca Rose Alexander (Derek Langlois). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Nicholas Fankhauser, Jacob Fankhauser, Alex Peters, Emma Fankhauser, Benjamin Peters, and Quincy Fankhauser.

Shari and Gary were together 51 years. In their later years the Alexanders traveled (Italy 3x, Portugal 2x, Grenada 2x, Galapagos in a once in a lifetime trip with National Geographic, Mexico and all of the Yucatan Peninsula countless times, Spain 3x, Guatemala, Hawaii 3x, the Oregon coast).

She thought she had a great life. Most of her working career was in the insurance industry, except the last job was a private investment firm. Gary worked for Liberty Mutual for 24 years. At times she was a horse’s butt, like anybody can be.
