Thelma Jean Holland

Thelma was born on September 13, 1937 in Brawley, California. After having moved around most of her life, Thelma settled in the Everett area. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband William Holland and her life long friend Lois Church, as well as her sisters Ginnie, Esther and Dorothy and her brothers Billy, Jimmy, Richard and Ralph.

She is survived by her brother Thomas Petty and sister Naomi Womack, sons Michael Cottrell And Steven Holland and daughter Kimberly Dorn. Her daughter in law Jessica Cottrell and future son in law Lee Skurok. Her beloved grandchildren Amy, Brianne, Kerianne, Sherityn, Ryan, Micaela, Bernadette, August, John-Paul, Quentin and Genevieve as well as her Great granddaughters Brooklyn, Paisley, Jordynne and Laurynn. She is also survived by her nieces Deneice, Donna, and Mary as well as her nephews Gary, Larry Doc, Doug and David.

She retired from the Boeing company in 2007 and enjoyed traveling to her childhood home of Phoenix and Las Vegas.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday February 7th, 2015 at 12:00 at Evergreen Funeral Home followed by a celebration of Thelma's life at her Grandaughter Brianne's home.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free

I'm following the path God laid for me.

I took His hand when I heard Him call

I turned my back and left it all

I could not stay another day

My life has been full, I've savored much

God wanted me now, He set me free!
