Irene grew up in Stockton but was a 50 year resident of Sacramento. She worked for AT&T for 23 years. She sang in several choirs and was an accomplished operatic soprano.
She is survived by her husband of 7 years, Les Cudworth and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 siblings.
A celebration of Irene’s life will be 11:00am Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Mount Vernon Mortuary, 8201 Greenback Ln. Fair Oaks, CA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Barbershop Harmony Foundation.
