

Arystene Yvonne Davis passed away on Aug 25 at the lovely age of 80. Arystene, was born Arystene Lindsey on July 14, 1933 in Little Rock Arkansas to Clarence Lindsey and Geneva Caraway. She spent he early child hood growing up in Granite Mountain, just outside Little Rock. Her Adolescent and young adult years where spent in Little Rock Ark. She graduated from the famed Dunbar High School and soon met and married her husband, Charles "Squirrel" Davis, of almost 56 years. They began their life together blissfully, and traveled the world as Charles was In the United States Air Force for 22 years. They lived in exotic wonderful places such as Japan, Germany, England, and many places in the United States. Post Military life was spent in Sacramento, CA. Arystene was a big football fan. She spent many Saturday afternoon attending the Cordova High School home games. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and shopping. She was rarely seen without that beautiful smile on her face. She could light up a room. She leaves behind her husband, Charles Davis, Daughter, Michelle Davis (maiden) Douglas, Husband, Keith Douglas, Grand Children Marcus Douglas, & Kyran Douglas. A brother (preceeded her in death in 2007) Robert Ingram, Cousins Maxine Edmond, Mary Cooper, Merrill Jackson husband Percy, Ernest Lee, wife Delores, Gwendolyn Shields. Uncle Ernest Caraway wife Francis, and a host of family and friends. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. God Bless
