Born December 2, 1924, in Westwood, California, she lived and worked most of her adult life in the Sacramento area, residing for almost 50 years in Citrus Heights. She worked as a medical support administrator caring for patients and the Doctor’s she served. She was active in civic charities and teaching children at her church.
She is survived by her Daughter Nancy/Ken Mortensen (UT), and Sister Sharon/Ron McCreary (CA). Barbara has five Grandchildren and eight Great-Grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, Mother Eurena, Father Riego and son’s Barney and Charles “Chuck” Robert James. Barbara was blessed to be surrounded by many friends who thought of her as family. We are all thankful for our association with this wonderful soul.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 A.M. Dec 20, at the LDS Church located at 8267 Deseret Ave. Fair Oaks, CA. A viewing will be held at 9 A.M. prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at the Mt. Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, CA.
