She was born and raised in Oklahoma, but lived in Fair Oaks 47 years. She was the pianist, handbell director, assistant pastor, and children's director at Fairvale Baptist Church. She taught school for 35 years; most of those at Greenhills Elementary in Granite Bay. She enjoyed being a member of the River City Chorale and the Larks Lakeside Village Choir.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband, Wil, of 56 years, daughters, Becky and Melissa, son, Ben, sister, Judy, and extended family.
Visitation will be held at Mt. Vernon Mortuary on Mar. 14th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held there on Tuesday, Mar. 15, at 10:00 a.m..
