Devin Jon Hedger

Devin Jon Hedger passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021. He was 30 years old and was a native California resident who lived in the Sacramento area. He passed away peacefully from this life into the arms of Jesus at Mercy San Juan Hospital with his father by his side. He is preceded in death by his grandfather (maternal) Ronald Jon Morrow, and his grandmother (paternal) Norma Jean Hedger. Devin Jon Hedger is survived by his father (David L. Hedger), mother (Tapi K. Hedger), Sister (Lauren K. Shelburne, married Zachary Shelburne), brother (Zane D. Hedger), and his niece and nephews (Lyla, Judah, Noah).

Devin Jon Hedger attended Pensacola Christian College for 2 years before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in 2011. He bravely fought and served his country overseas in Afghanistan in 2013. He then returned to Sacramento where he continued to work at In-N-Out Burger and was promoted to a store manager. Although he was the life of every party and loved by everyone that knew him, he struggled for years with PTSD and addictions which eventually led to his death.

A memorial service in Devin's honor will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 2:00 in the afternoon at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback lane Fair Oaks, Ca. 95628
