

Born on April 19th, 1924 in Redford Michigan, Mr. Hansen enlisted in the Navy in June 1941, and served his country for the duration of World War II. He was awarded several medals for service above and beyond the call of duty, including the Purple Heart.
Mr. Hansen worked at Lockheed Missiles & Space Company for 37 years and retired to Rancho Murieta in 1988, where he enjoyed playing golf until bad health forced him to give up the game he loved so much.
Mr. Hansen is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Millie Hansen; cherished family including daughter Lindy Mallonee (Chuck) of Granite Bay; son David Hansen (Karen) of Fresno; daughter Donna Rowlison (Bruce) of Aptos; grandson Barry Duggan (Brook) of Watsonville; granddaughter Heather Chapin (Ed) of Roseville; granddaughter Rosella Rowlison of Elk Grove; granddaughter Bernadette Rowlison of Chaparral, N.M.; Nicole Hansen of Fresno; and eleven great-grand children: Jordan, Ethan, Evan, Abrielle, and Ryan Chapin; Chloe Stephens; Gavin, Gillian, Giovanna, and Gregory Rowlison; and Isadora Chapa-Baro.
A celebration of life was held at the Rancho Murieta Community Church on Saturday March 24th at 1:30p.m. led by Mr. Hansen's son-in-law, Reverend Bruce Rowlison, of Aptos, California.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
