Donna Joline Nuss

Joline Nuss, 82, of Carmichael CA was taken from her family and friends on June 24, 2016. She was born September 20, 1933, in Montezuma Kansas. Daughter of Leroy and Jennie Zimmerman. She was the beloved wife of Donald Nuss, who preceded her in death. Loving Sister of Ed Zimmerman of Citrus Heights, CA and Orrinne Winsor of Dodge City KS. Devoted mother of Linda “Joy” Domian of Oviedo FL, Donald “Kent” Nuss of Carmichael CA and Roy Lee Nuss of Sacramento CA. Grandmother to Daniel Nuss, Adrienne Marino, Benjamin Domian and Gabriel Nuss. Great Grandmother to Juniper Marino.

Joline was a member of the Church of Christ. Over the years, she was active in many clubs including the Mistletones vocal group, women’s clubs, garden club, Red Hatters Club, cactus club and button club. She enjoyed doing crafts, holding and going to yard sales. Sacramento Food Bank benefitted weekly from her time volunteering. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel around the world. Wit and humor were some of her most loved qualities.

The funeral will be at noon Tuesday July 5th at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, Fair Oaks CA.

In lieu of flowers, Joline preferred donations in her name to the Sacramento SPCA or the American Cancer Society.
