Donna Jean Winfree

Donna 76 - Fair Oaks, passed away July 10, 2016 after a brave battle with cancer. She was born in San Diego, on March 10, 1940, to the late Kenneth and Margaret Wiley. Donna graduated from Shasta High in 1958 and married her high school sweet heart, Ernest Winfree, May 2, 1959.

Donna and Ernie opened their own business “E & D Sewing” in 1983 and still has a store up and running on Greenback ln, in Citrus Heights. Donna was a woman of many talents; she was a master seamstress, enjoyed making crafts, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a mentor to many and loved by all.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband Ernie, brother Jimmy Wiley, and granddaughter Kaitlyn McRae. She is survived by her three daughters; Terri McRae, Sherri Winfree, Kari and son-in-law Michael Morrow, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, Sister Helen Baugh and Brother Kenneth Wiley. She will be forever in our hearts.

A viewing will be held at Mt Vernon Memorial, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, Friday July 15, 2016 from 4-7PM. The funeral will take place on Saturday July 16, 2016 at 2PM.
