Dorothy Chin reunited with God and her late husband George in heaven on April, 25th, 2024. Dorothy (aka Dot) was one of four children born in Stockton, CA. During WWII, she was exiled with her family in China, but soon returned to finish her high school education and secure a job as a window designer for S.H. Kress in Stockton. Dorothy married her love, George, on December 9, 1956. Together, they enjoyed tending to their indoor and outdoor gardens, staying fit in senior aerobics classes, attending Fremont Presbyterian Church services, making homemade meals, and delving in their individual crafts. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting outfits for her daughters, granddaughter, and nieces. Later, she amassed an impressive collection of dolls and would make custom outfits for them. Her nickname, Ladybug, reflected her gentle soul, kind heart, and fluttery eyelashes.
Services will be held on June 6 at 11:00 AM at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
