Erma Jean Randell

Erma Jean Randell, born March 28, 1948 in Lake Providence, Louisiana, crossed over on April 5, 2016 in Sacramento, California. The Randell Family moved from Louisiana in August of 1952 to Herlong, California. The Family later moved to Sacramento in August of 1964. Erma completed Her AA Degree in Cosmetology before moving to Berkeley, then later to San Francisco. She worked as an accountant for B of A in San Francisco for 31 years, and initially would return to Sacramento on the weekends to perform “Beautician magic” on Her Customers! Erma was also an excellent Seamstress, and made the dress which Her Mother wore at Her 25th Wedding Anniversary. In addition to everything else; Erma also sold Avon Products right up to the end. Some 27 years ago Erma relocated from San Francisco to Stockton, and after retiring she worked as a Concierge for Marriot Hotels, and to keep busy these final years; she worked as an Officer for Securitas Security.

Erma is survived by her mother Savannah, son Curtis Randell Williams, brother William, Jr. “Ray” (Dorothy “Dot”, and their daughters, Kalandra and Kembra), brother Charles (Loyce “LT”, and their son Cameren). Plus with Erma’s mother, Savannah, being the eldest of 16 children, coupled with Erma’s “Quiet Tenderness”, leaves a host of Special Friends and Relatives!

Services will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3565 9th Ave. Sacramento, Ca. 95817, on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 11:00am, with the viewing will start at 9:00am. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, Mortuary & Crematory 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
