Fern grew up in Council Grove with eight brothers and sisters. She moved to California, living in Napa, Galt, Sacramento, Corning then back to Napa, to be near family. She will be missed by all who new her.
Fern is survived by her son, Fred A. (Bonnie) Braun, Jr., of Napa; daughter, Bonita (Gil) Reynaga of Rocklin, Calif.; her sister, Dora Masser of Kansas; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Earl McCormick, and son, Norman Beckley.
