James Thomas Moore (Curly) met his Savior April 7th at the age of 80 after a courageous battle against Parkinson's. An accomplished guitarist/singer, Curly loved country & gospel music. He retired from the Sacramento Army Depot after 45 years of service and enjoyed life on the farm, fixing what broke instead of replacing it, and traveling to his family in Texas. Curly is survived by and sorely missed by his loving, caring wife Debbie; his children Evelyn Chanasyk, Virginia Gudgel, Roger Moore, John Moore; step children Diane (Jim) Plaza, Tina (Gary) Veer, and Tim (Nicole) Plaza; four surviving sisters Ellen Newman, Lela Baker, Dottie Burke, Snookie Dansby, and brother Bill Moore; and 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A memorial service in his honor will be held on Mon, April 15th at 10 am at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane in Fair Oaks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:
