Auntie, Rhonda, Del and James.  I wanted to share my thoughts on Uncle but we ran out of time at the funeral.  Here is a copy of my eulogy.  I write it with love and deep respect for Uncle.
Good afternoon, my name is Rose Ragudo. I am one of uncle Quicoy's many nieces. My mom, Naty, and Uncle Quicoy were cousins. They were one of the first relatives to come to the states. When we were young, our families spent many summers together alternating between Sacramento and Los Angeles. They were family reunions, but on a much smaller scale. We spent time together going to places like Disneyland, when Disneyland was affordable, Marine World, and the Roseville Auction, and the state fair.
There are so many words that can be used to describe Uncle. Courageous, humble, honorable, respected, kind, caring, strong are some words that come to mind. One thing that can be said about Uncle was that he was the consummate family man. When it came to family, his loyalty and love was fierce. He wasn't someone who took sides. If there was a disagreement between family members, he would always try to stay middle of the road. He took his position as patriarch of the family very serious. He and Auntie Floring took care of family members here and in the Philippines, sisters, brothers, cousins, all you had to do was ask. He sent money home to the Philippines to help nephews and nieces who were less fortunate in hopes that they would some day have a better life. Whatever was needed Uncle would give as much as he could. He took in countless family members from the Philippines, into his home, helped them get on their feet and got them started in the US. He helped raise his grandchildren, took in countless nieces and nephews, always offering food and shelter on top of raising a great family.
I will always be grateful for the time I lived in Sacramento. It gave me the opportunity to get to know Uncle better. He was a simple man never asking anything more from you other than for you to be the best person you can be. As he began to age, and illnesses began to take its toll on his body there was one thing he never lost, and that was his ability to laugh and smile. 
The years in which his health declined aren't the memories I choose to hold on to. It's the memories we spent with family laughing and smiling. When I heard of Uncle's passing, I didn't break down and cry. Instead I felt a sense of peace for him because he was finally free from the illness that had kept him locked away for so long. He shared his last breath with those that meant the most to him by his side. They touched him and held him and helped him pass from this life to the next. We should all be so lucky to experience love like that. 
Uncle, I will miss you dearly and I thank you for all the things that you have taught me. To face adversity with courage and strength, to respect yourself and others, to love your family with all your heart, to know that you can accomplish anything as long as you put your whole heart into it, and lastly to always remember to laugh and smile, even through the tough times because life is a journey and we should enjoy as much of it as possible. 
My sister-in-law Julie has this saying "Enjoy the life" I believe that's exactly what Uncle Quicoy did.

Rhonda, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I can understand how difficult this time must be for you (I also lost my dad, though it was 15 years ago.) May the time you spent together and the memories you created with him bring you comfort. My prayers are with you & your family.

Sorry to hear of your loss.  After reading your father's obituary, I could tell he was a remarkable man.  Keep those fond memories close to your heart.  My prayers and warm thoughts go out to you and your family.
