Kevin Lynn Benge

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Lynn Benge on January 30, 2026. Born on December 26, 1956, in California, was the youngest child in his family, with his sister Verna Schooley and his brother Clyde Benge.

Kevin was the father of his three children—Amber, Erin, and Chris—and a proud and loving grandfather to Natalie (Nico) Kelly, Carsen Riccobuano, Zoey, Leeland, and Kaylee Fackler. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Payton Kelly, as well as his mother, Jacqueline Kay Benge, and his father, Vernon Doyle Benge. Kevin will be laid to rest beside Payton, a reunion that brings comfort to those who loved him.

Kevin found peace and joy in the simple things. He loved fishing and camping, especially when surrounded by nature, quiet mornings, and time to reflect. Those moments outdoors were where he felt most himself—calm, content, and grounded.

Kevin will be remembered for his warmth, his resilience, and the love he held for his family. He leaves behind many friends and extended family members who cared deeply for him and will forever remember the impact he had through shared memories, laughter, and presence.

He will be laid to rest at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, California.

Kevin will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.
