President and CEO of Woman Owned IT Business Sunrise Technologies, Inc. for over 30 years winning numerous Northrop Grumman awards in the Aerospace Industry and in California State Government Contracting. Retired from California Dept. of Managed Health Care in 2023. She was also 2008 recipient of the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) for Outstanding Women Leaders "Against All Odds Award".
World traveler and history buff, lover of nature and exotic animals, especially giraffes, fine dining and cultural influences, and a deep, deep love for family. She was a gourmet chef in French, Vietnamese and American cuisine as well as fluent in these languages.
Born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, Kimanh attended a French Catholic school and adopted many American values and influences at a very young age through art, music, fashion and American Literature. Leaving Vietnam in 1974, Kimanh began her world quest beginning with IT contracting in Africa and advanced her education and career from there. Never forgetting her roots and family members in Vietnam, she reached back for the next 19 years to be the pivotal force that cleared the US immigration requirements for her family to come to America to prosper in California and on the East Coast.
Kimanh will always be remembered for her generosity, devout religious values, and her loving spirit. A true pioneer in women's rights, education, advancement, and the recognition of women's value in the American economy, Kimanh has left an indelible and lasting legacy for all to build upon.
