Loraine Johnson entered into rest on May 14, 2011. She was born to Anna and Everett Clark in Detroit, MI on July 13, 1921. She retired from the California State Legislature in 1984. Loraine was a devoted member to both the Epsilon Sigma Alpha International and Rho Kappa Chapter #4033. She was also the President of the American River Women's Club in 1979 and was nominated for the Community Citizen of the Year award in 1976.
Loraine is preceeded in death by her sister Katherine E. Clark and is survived by her daughter Tedda; Granddaughters Kassondra and Kristin; and Great Grandson Reece. In lieu of cut flowers, live plants are appreciated.
