Loretta was born on August 13, 1942 in Sacramento, California to Herbert and Pauline Tschoepe. After growing up in Sacramento, she married Theodore Stormont in 1969, they resided in Sacramento for the almost 40 years they were married before Ted's death in 2008. Together, they had two children, Christopher and Annette Stormont. Loretta was known amongst some of the 39 Stormont cousins as being a good cook and a kind host for the many summer gatherings and family cookouts.
She left this Earth on September 17, 2020 to join her late husband Theordore, and her son Christopher, and is survived by her daughter Annette as well as the many nieces and nephews who enjoyed her company growing up.
Due to the pandemic, there will be a small, private ceremony.
May Loretta be at peace and her pure kindness manifest and shine brightly in this world that is in such deep need for kindness and light.
