He was born February 5, 1938 in San Francisco, California, to Charles and Jeannette Tienken. He is survived by his loving wife, Maureen "Pinky" Tienken.
He is also survived by his son Robert "Bobby" (Carolyn) Tienken of Sacramento, daughter Kelly Tienken of Sacramento; three grandsons, Eric (Kylie) Kaiser, and Dan and Tim Canada; one granddaughter Britney Kaiser; two great grandsons, Caleb Day and Lucas Canada; three great granddaughters, Lizzy and Chelsea Canada, and Kacie Kaiser; three brothers, William (Joan) Tienken of Mississippi, Charles (Jody) Tienken of Idaho, and Gary (Elise) Tienken of California; sister-in-law Pat Taylor of Sacramento.

He married the love of his life, Maureen "Pinky" Tienken, on August 9, 1962 in Reno, Nevada. They spent 52 years together loving one another and raising their family. Bob liked to go fishing, playing the penny slots, and for many years going to Sunday breakfast with Pat and George. However, all the other activities paled in comparison to the activity Bob loved the "Mostest", spending time with Pinky and their family.
