Maria Mocanu

In loving memory of our beloved Mother and Wife to Ilie Mocanu, Maria on October 15, 2024 was called home by our Heavenly Father peacefully from the home that she shared with her husband and three daughters.

Maria was a loving wife, faithful in her beliefs that one day she will be in the presence of her Heavenly Father. Maria was a mother of twelve children. Which she entrusted in the hands of her Father in Heaven.

Maria was born on October 10,1948 in Veresti Suceava, Romania. She was the eldest of ten siblings. As a young girl she was a support system for her mother in raising her siblings. In her younger years She loved spending time with her cousins in the summer by the lake. She loved reading, enjoying her favorite movies. She loved to recite poems. And later in years she enjoyed bible study with her husband. She loved needlework, crocheting, music, history and geography. She loved nature and gardening. She loved the sunny hot days where the warmth of the sun made her feel happy. She loved looking up and watching planes fly by. Maria was known for her beauty inside and out her smile warmed the hearts of those who knew her. She was a hardworking, strong,

beautiful, confident, independent woman. She loved to laugh; she was funny had a great sense of humor. She was smart, witty, organized, very neat, very elegant, she loved looking sharp. She was nurturing, loving, caring, friendly and proper. Her joy in life was her faith, her husband Ilie and her twelve children.

Maria will be tremendously loved and missed by her husband, Ilie Mocanu of 57 years. As well by her twelve children; Andrei, Veniamin, Elisei, Elisabeth, Daniel, Irina, Iuliana Otilia, Dorina, Dorin, Adina, Samuel, and Corina. In addition, by her 26 grandchildren along with daughter in laws and son and laws.

This is not a goodbye this is a see you later. Death is only a transition to eternal life. We will meet again in heaven for eternity and forever we will all be in the presence of God.
