Marilyn Ann Nichols

Marilyn was born in Denver CO on November 29,1927 to Leslie C and Dolores Orr. After graduating from the University of Denver she moved to San Francisco, CA to complete a Dietetic Internship at Stanford Hospital. In 1955 she was married to Carl W Nichols. They settled in North Highlands to raise a family. She raised 3 boys and was devoted to shaping their lives in academics, music, sports and spiritual growth. Marilyn loved animals. She raised Miniature Schnauzers and was a member of the Northern CA Miniature Schnauzer club, acting as their Corresponding Secretary.

Marilyn was an active member of St Stephens Presbyterian church in North Highlands, CA, serving as a Deacon and singing in the choir.

Marilyn was a loving wife, mother and sister. She is predeceased by her loving husband Carl, her brother Norman, and her sister Catherine. She is survived by her sons Steven, Andrew, Michael, and their wives, and her 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She has gone to be with The Lord, Jesus Christ, but she will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Celebration will be held on Monday, December 3rd at 11am, at Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church in Citrus Heights, CA.

Donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
