May 24, 1965 – March 15, 2016
After a long, hard-fought battle with cancer, Mark passed peacefully in his Sacramento-area home at the young age of 50. It was his deep love for his two boys—Brennan, age 10 and Dustin, age 7—that helped him persevere, even defying some of his physicians’ prognoses. Mark was born in Sacramento, graduated from Mira Loma High School and California State University Sacramento, and enjoyed a career in the insurance-claims-investigation field. He is survived by his beloved sons Brennan Yuill and Dustin Yuill, parents Suzette and Bob Yuill, brother Scott Yuill, sister-in-law Tami Bogert-Yuill, and his extensive Nevada family including uncle Paul O’Gorman, aunt Marilyn O’Gorman, and many cousins. Mark was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He was an avid hockey fan—a player in earlier years—and consistently stubborn in that “hockey player” sort of way, but sprinkled with charm and a grin. A private, family gathering will occur in lieu of services. Written sentiments and remembrances are welcome via Mark's Guest Book at www.mountvernonmemorialpark.com.
