Nona Marie Nolan, born Nov. 7, 1923. She is survived by daughter Suzan Robinson and son William Nolan and wife Liz, grandchildren Michael and wife Sarah, Michelle, Heather and husband Alex, and Kelly and great-grandchildren Jessica, Steven and Jaden. A resident of the Sacramento area since 1942. Worked at McClellan AFB as a "Rosie the Riviter" during WWII and the Korean conflict. Served as a Sacramento Co. 4-H leader for 50 yrs. Always fun loving and full of life, she always enjoyed her family, friends and hobbies including ceramics, bowling, sewing, cooking and bunco. She is loved and missed.
A celebration of Nona's life will be 12:00pm Thursday February 17, 2011 at Mount Vernon Memorial Park's Chapel of the Valley.
