Born on November 23, 1940, in San Jose, CA., Peter was the beloved son of Peter Paul Mazzuca Sr and Vivian Mazzuca. He grew up in San Jose and attended Willow Glen High School. After high school, he became a brick layer and that choice led him down the path to the construction industry, where he built a life defined by hard work, pride and perseverance. During his career, he went on to establish successful companies and was widely renowned in his field and respected by his peers.
Peter had a meaningful impact on many lives both personally and professionally. And he constantly cared about the well-being and happiness of those around him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, barbecuing, watching football, smoking his cigar in his backyard, boating, all things Elvis, and the holidays (he loved decorating).
He was a dedicated and beloved husband, father and grandfather and is survived by his wife Linda Mazzuca, children Peter Paul Mazzuca III, Lisa Mazzuca-Perry, and grandchildren Kurt Michael Sprenger, Gianna and Nikolas Perry, siblings Barbara Polisso and John Mazzuca. Peter was preceded in death by Peter Paul Mazzuca Sr. and Vivian Mazzuca.
A celebration of life will be held on April 17th, 2026, at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your charity of choice.
Pete leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength-woven into every life he touched. He showed what it meant to care deeply, to offer compassion without hesitation and to stand steadily through life’s challenges. His kindness made people feel seen, his love made them feel valued and his strength gave others something to lean on. That legacy lives on-not just in memory, but in the way he inspired others to live with the same grace, warmth, and resilience.
