

Robert Bloise, 85 years old, a longtime resident of Carmichael, California for over 50 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 19, 2014 in Carmichael, California. Robert was born in Vacaville, California. He served in the United States Coast Guard at the end of World War 2. He was a barber for 57 years, and he owned the Pine Cove Barber Shop from 1969 to 2011. He was married to Olga A Bloise for over 64 years. Robert is survived by wife Olga, and sons Robert Jr and his wife Valerie, Nick, and granddaughter Melissa all of Carmichael. Sister Carmella Mingee and Ronald Bloise both of Clovis, California, and numerous nephews and nieces. In addition, Uncle Albert Bloise of Paradise, and Aunt Anna Bianculli of San Francisco.
He was a friend of law enforcement specifically the California Highway Patrol, Sacramento County Sheriff, and Sacramento Police Department.
Robert Bloise was a strong conservative, enthusiastic supporter of Proposition 13, and the National Rifle Association. He was a fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the San Francisco Giants. Robert enjoyed the mountains around Lake Tahoe and Lake Almanor, hunting, fishing, boating, weight lifting, and for over fifteen years he was avid bicycle rider participating in several 100K bicycle rides (Sierra and El Dorado Centuries). In later years, Robert enjoyed traveling with his wife Olga to Disneyland, Yosemite, Bodega Bay, and Fort Bragg, California.
Services will be held at Mount Vernon Mortuary, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA 95628 on Tuesday March 4th at 2pm. Visitation will also be held at Mount Vernon from 4pm to 7pm on March 3rd. Flowers can be sent to Mount Vernon Mortuary.
Graveside service will be held at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, 522 Elmira Road, Vacaville, CA on Wednesday March 5th at 2pm.
Robert will be deeply missed, however, he would want everyone to know he loved the Lord, and he truly wanted everyone to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
