Robert Wayne Chance

P. Chance formerly of Laurinburg, NC. Wayne as he was commonly called as a young boy grew up in Hamlet and Laurinburg, NC. He later joined the Navy and married his wife "Nyla" they were married for 56 years. They owned Time Printing Company of Sacramento, CA together for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son William David Chance and a brother James H. Chance Sr. formerly of Laurinburg, NC. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Nyla Chance of Lincoln, CA, his daughter Carolyn Fong and husband Mark of Roseville CA, sons Scott Chance of Rancho Cordova CA, and Paul Chance and wife Karen also of Lincoln, CA. He was blessed with 3 beautiful grandchildren Abby, Gabe, and Sarah Chance. He is also survived by Frances Standley of Southern Pines, NC, Bill Chance of Lincoln, CA and Deborah Chance Quick (Charles) of Laurinburg, NC. There are many nieces, nephews, and cousins from the east coast to the west coast that he thought so much of.

Services will be handled by Mt. Vernon Memorial Park & Mortuary 8201 Greenback Lane Fair Oaks, CA 95628 Graveside Services Friday June 4th at 10 am at Mt. Vernon

Celebration of Life will be Saturday June 5th from 12 noon until 3 pm in Lincoln at the family home.

Due to the current COVID protocols for Sac/ Placer/ El Dorado county, guests must wear protective masks at all times while inside the funeral home facility and practice the recommended six foot social distancing.
