Robert Lindsay STONE, age 89, of Citrus Heights, California passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Robert was born July 17,1932 in Carlisle, Kentucky to the late Alvin and Mayme George Stone. He retired from the United States Air Force after serving 21 years. He worked for the US Post Office for a short time and then finished his working years at McClellan AFB, Civil Service working on the flight line loading Air Freight.
Mr. Stone is survived by his four children; Richard Stone, Randy Stone, Carla Webb (Jay), Kimberley Stone, his grandchildren; Shanna Stone-Padilla, Breann Stone, Scott Austin, Rebecca Whitmer (Brian), Chelsea Austin (Ty Williams), his great-grandchildren; Aleesa, Isaiah, Noah, Wyatt and Waylon. Also surviving is his brother William Stone (Wanda). He was preceded in death by his wife Christine Stone, his grandson Blake Webb and his brother Everett Stone.
A funeral service for Robert will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628, followed by a graveside service from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM.
