

Ronald, or Ron as he was known, was born in Denver, CO on December 3rd, 1945 to Masanobu and Tazuko Tachibana. Ron was the couple's first child followed by a sister, Carol (deceased) and brother Aaron. When Ron was a baby the family moved to the Santa Clara Valley where Ron went to school and eventually graduated from Buchser High School.
In 1965 Ron enlisted with the US Navy where he became a Hospital Corpsman, serving in Vietnam attached to the 2nd Battalion 4th Marines. After returning home, Ron graduated from Stanford University with Physician's Assistance pilot program Following his love of medicine, Ron had then went on to become a family Physician, getting his medical degree from the university of Colorado in denver.
Aside from serving as a dedicated doctor in Sacramento, CA for over thirty years, Ron had many hobbies and interest. He enjoyed cooking and had a passion for eating good food, whether it be at a fine dining restaurant or a local "hole in the wall" He also considered himself a modern day 49er, dredging and panning for gold with his friends. He also enjoyed creating things as one of his hobbies,his jewelry making and leather crafting can attest.
Ron is survived by his three daughters, Lisa Harris and her husband, Todd Harris and their two sons Nolan and Aiden; Miko Tachibana, her husband Scott Frerichs and their two daughters, Ryden and Hollis; Brooke Tachibana, her partner Robby Schmit and their two sons, Jacob and patrick.
Ron's family will host a Celebration Of Life service Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 1:00pm. The service will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA.
